Social Media Management

CORE logo - final.png
25.png

Businesses love to advertise on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, but at their core those forums are there to create social connections for users, first and foremost.

A common mistake businesses make is to use social media platforms as a tool to bombard their target audience with relentless promotional messaging. This could be a tremendous mistake that may turn your audience away instead of attracting new followers who are loyal to your brand.

Great social media management includes regular sharing of personal posts -- images that give a glimpse behind the scenes of your business, employee highlights, holiday celebrations, and so much more.

Aside from being business people, we are all consumer, too. Think about what brands you like the most on social media. A company that engages its social media audience, listens to suggestions and complaints, interacts and responds and shares -- those are the brands that are successful on social media.

At CORE Digital Brands we know how to manage your social media pages in a way that leaves customers and prospects coming back for more of your social content.

  • Facebook still reigns supreme as the most-used social network in the world

  • Sign-up for a social media page for business is typically free on most platforms

  • Consumers seek out social media pages of a business for one-on-one support and inquiries

  • A social media page increases brand awareness and helps brands stay top-of-mind through regular posting

  • Enables companies to establish thought leadership

  • A business Facebook page generates leads, improves website traffic, and increases sales

Geo-Fencing

Put your storefront location to work with geofencing, a location-based service that uses WiFi, cellular data, or GPS to trigger ad service to nearby customers and prospects via cell phone notification.

As the name implies, geofencing creates a "fence" or boundary around a specified geographic area -- a neighborhood, a zip code, a radius around a storefront, etc. Persons within that boundary, depending on other targeting factors, receive a promotional message designed to draw foot traffic from potential customers already in the area.

Geofencing is a win-win: potential customers are notified of great deals nearby that they may be interested in, and business owners receive more spontaneous foot traffic. Of course, the advertiser doesn't have to have a storefront location -- perhaps you simply want to zero in on a certain geographic area. This could be a neighborhood with certain demographic features, or a city district that serves special interest groups that match your ideal business audience.

If you have a storefront (and even if you don't!), let's talk about geofencing!

  • Mobile ads with geofencing have double the click-through rate.

  • Geofencing is compatible with 92% of smartphones.

  • The average consumer spends 5 hours a day on their mobile device.

  • 3 out of 4 consumers complete an action after receiving a message when approaching a specific location

  • 53% of shoppers visited a retailer after receiving a location-based message

Text Message Marketing

Text message marketing, a.k.a. SMS marketing, is the little brother of email marketing -- except that it's not so little at all!

Text messages from businesses are short, to the point, and typically contain a phone number and/or link to a website. Sometimes an image is added as well. Company often use text messages to communicate special offers or sales events, or to prompt users to sign up for an account, newsletter, etc.

Phone numbers for text messaging campaigns can be purchased in list format or derived from internal customer, subscriber, or web visitor data.

Text messages are a great way to communicate with both new and existing customers. This strategy is highly effective at achieving superior response rates and works for businesses of any size and in any location.

When using purchased lists of phone numbers (opt-ins only), text messages can be targeted by demographics such as age range, location, household income and more.

  • Blog content

  • 75 of consumers prefer to receive marketing messages via text
  • Text messages are, on average, read within 1-5 minutes of receipt
  • 9 in 10 people open marketing text messages
  • 45% or prospective customers become buyers
  • 62% of businesses say quick delivery is the biggest advantage of text message campaigns
